Life after college is a mystery to some, but it doesn’t have to be when there are a plethora of opportunities waiting for you at your back door.

Over 72 companies ranging from law enforcement to education were present at the Career Services Spring 2018 Career Expo, March 14th. The companies were looking for bright young men and women to bring fresh and inventive ideas to their organizations.

Career Expo exhibitor, Misty Brown, Talent Acquisition Specialist for Enterprise Holdings, said that it is important for students to speak to the different companies to learn about their various opportunities.

According to Forbes Magazine, the search for a job can be stressful, that takes networking and perseverance. A study done by the Washington Post found that only 27 percent of college graduates got a career in their major.

Job sites such as coolworks.com and experience.com are specifically geared for college graduates looking for entry-level positions. Creating a profile on Indeed.com and attending networking events can help you move forward on your career path.
