NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — A motorcycle driver is dead after a fatal wreck in Norfolk.
Norfolk police say the wreck occurred at about 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Apr 9 when a man on a motorcycle was traveling southbound on Granby Street. Police say he was struck by an SUV traveling northbound when the driver tried to make a left turn.
The motorcycle driver was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died Saturday.
Police have identified him as 57-year-old Michael Wyss. The incident is under investigation.
